Assalamu Alaikum.

Ramadan is over for this year but Dhul-Hijjah isn’t. The first 10 days of this month are the best of the year so we should really approach it as a sort of mini-Ramadan, if you will.

These 10 days have many virtues and they also have certain recommended deeds that should be performed in them. Those going for Hajj should be keen to do them in order to get the maximum amount of reward out of their Hajj.

As for those who are not going for Hajj, they should also be keen to do these deeds rather than doodling around and moaning and groaning because everyone else has gone for Hajj…

See, in the end, it doesn’t matter if you go to Hajj or not. The point is that wherever you are, you need to worship Allah alone in the best way possible.
