Article: 40 Hadeeth about Makkah

بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم

Assalamu Alaikum.

Crave to know more about Makkah? Well, here’s a nice compilation of ahadeeth related to Makkah and the important things in it (Masjid Al-Haram, Zam-Zam, Black stone, etc):

[Note: The compiler has mentioned the authenticity of all the ahadeeth but for some of them, he has used scholars like Imam Ibn Hibban (rahimahullah), for example, who was known to be very lenient in grading ahadeeth.]

I have a vague memory of reading about Abdullah ibn Zubair (radiallahu anhuma) doing this. And it seems that it was done in the past century as well.

Assalamu Alaikum.

Here’s an excellent website which covers just about everything you need to know about Hajj. There are fatwas, audios, articles, health tips, etc. They even have a cute flash program on how to do Hajj.

Note: I don’t necessarily agree with everything on the site.
